In our recent post, Booze Wars, we talked a bit about the hilarious and heated battle between two European breweries: Schorschbrau and BrewDog. These two ale factories (the former German, the latter Scottish) have been duking it out for a couple years now, trying to one-up each other to see who can produce the highest-ABV beer on Earth. While their two strongest offerings (Schorschbrau’s Schorschbock 40 at 40% and BrewDogs’s Sink the Bismarck at 41%) are still unavailable in the States, BrewDog’s 32% monster, the Tactical Nuclear Penguin, will shortly be shipped to markets in California and New York. So for all of you Aleheads in the Golden State or Gotham, grab yourself a bottle of liquid courage and let us know what you think!

Please let this be the Whole Foods nearest to me… any idea on how to determine where I can find this fine, fine brew?
