THE MALTERCATION: NOW IS THE SPRING OF OUR DISCONTENT

DOWNLOAD: NOW IS THE SPRING OF OUR DISCONTENT

The Baron emerged from his corporate shell to join Brother Barley, Doctor Ripped, Sir Magnus, and Mr. Sixpack in a rambling discussion about Spring seasonals. Amidst much confusion about what even constitutes a Spring beer these days, there are tidbits of wisdom about Bocks, Irish Reds, and of course, the Baron’s dingleberries.*

*Editor’s Note: A recording error left us without our remarkably informative introduction. So Brother Barley had to scramble and record a highly-truncated version of the original intro that sounds like a very poor try-out for NPR’s All Things Considered.

I’m generally in your camp, but I had this dark hef at the Craft brew festival in Oregon last summer, which I would place in Spring brew category and it was one of the best beers I had at the festival. I spoke to both the owner and the brewer and they told me the background on Dragon’s breath. Apparently if you drink more than a few, your breath is awful.
