Black Betty was pretty solid. The barrel aging (“whiskey” rather than “bourbon”) was pretty subtle, with perhaps more oak flavors than whiskey, perhaps this one would be up Doc’s alley. More in line with something like an Old Rasputin as far as body. Actually had a fair bit of head, which a lot of these imperials lack.
